You can read the fanfic right here -> Sanguine Kindness.
This illustration belongs to Chapter 5, Aftermath , of which you can see a small preview below these lines:
Pony blood was the key. Animal blood didn’t do enough.
Yes, pony blood. Blood of the pony.
It’s fangs glistened in the moonlight as it thought about its next victim.
This one was a barrel of fun to work on. I really enjoyed shading Flutterbat, drawing the tombstone, and even all those little flowers. It did take me a long while to get it done, but I think I'm fairly proud of the results. Very rarely I have the opportunity to draw something creepy, or scary, and with this series of illustrations I think I've found an outlet to free that part of myself. Besides, drawing Flutterbat is fun. She's one of those designs I can never get tired of drawing.
I hope you all enjoy this one. Please feel free to let me know what you think of it in the comments. Thank you so much for checking my artwork!

her wings are so impressive I must say x3 I love how you have the moonlight shining over them in the background.
also, idk if anyone else noticed this but I like how you have her perched on Rose's grave like crows at a graveyard.
