Fanart - MLP. Queen Celestia

This will be available at BronyScot 2015, during the charity auction for C.H.A.S. (Child's Hospice Association of Scotland).

Painted in acrylics and a canvas for a good couple of days, taking advantage of what little sunlight the cloudy weather allowed me to have.

This was a fun return to form for me, actually. Back in art school I used to do a bunch of acrylic paintings (you can find those going at the end of my gallery) so being able to pick them up again and do something to help with charity is a good change of pace. Also, believe it or not, I didn't miss the undo button while working on this. After doing this one I can't wait to work on the next canvas (there's going to be two more). Celestia deserves some more love. I feel like we haven't seen enough of her these past few seasons. She's a good character, don't you think? She looks after her subjects and wants the best for them. That has to be worth respecting.
