Second picture of the year!

I have a lot of Flutter-Bat artwork in my system and I need to get it out. I thought the concept of Fluttershy as a bat was a delicious irony. She's dedicated her life to look after and take care of critters, and now she gets turned into one. I like the idea of vamponies and bat-ponies. They are adorable and very cute, what with those little fangs and their big ears, and their ragged hair and tails, and all the things that make them so damn awesome.

Fluttershy wouldn't have that many issues as a bat pony, but if she was a vampire pony (and she wasn't one of those sparkly vampires of course) she would have a hard time getting around in the middle of the day. She would be taking a dish of cheese to one of her critter friends, when a ray of sunlight comes through a window and leaves a nasty burn on her hoof. She'll drop the dish and hold her injured limb, seeing how the fur and skin have disappeared, leaving a nasty burn that smokes and suppurates like she just stuck it inside a fire. It would be horrible! She will be horrified, scared and confused. She'll need medical attention, but most important she'll need a hug and some emotional support.

Flutter-Bat was a really awesome concept, but in how cute she looks as a "monster" she also looked really vulnerable. She deserves all the hugs.
