Ask Movie Slate - Episode 204, Hearths Warming 2016

Woo-wee, looks like poor Movie Slate needed about an entire month of being locked up in her padded cell before she could go back to talking about movies and celebrating them. This one has been way worse than last time, when she put a drill through her forehead in order to forget the memories of "Foodfight!". At least last time she kept the blog going showing signs of her recovery. This is what happens when you deal with such unrefined awfulness like Tommy Wiseau's "The Room".

In all seriousness, there's been no new Movie Slates for these past couple of weeks due to BronyScot taking a big chunk of my time, and then coming back home to complete a good number of my commissions. I had to sacrifice something and that something turned out to be updating Movie Slate. I was the first one to be disappointed because I have a pile of ideas and concepts I want to use in her blog, but I have to take care of all my pending work, and not every Movie Slate update has been commissioned so something had to go. This also means there won't be a lot of updates this Christmas. We might have three pictures, two at the very least, and a closure update to end the year. I'm sorry it had to be this way guys, but such are things with life sometimes.

It's not for a lack of ideas, though. I have enough material prepared for Movie Slate to last for a whole year, but sadly my hand isn't as fast as my brain so drawing them takes way longer than thinking them. Also I might come back and re-visit Movie Slate in the Hospital's mental ward. There are a couple of Movies I think could be reviewed with her in such scenario (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest being one of them of course). Besides drawing psychotic and deranged Movie Slate is always a lot of fun, so just because she's out of there doesn't mean we can't always come back.
