Hi. A little something about this guy. I am a happily married, father of two wonderful daughters. I am also a sufferer of Asperger's Syndrome (high functioning Autistic Spectrum Disorder) and Tourette's Syndrome... along with the problems they bring. But I have discovered that love for Photography and the joy there is in sharing what I see when I capture it with my camera and also that awe I have when in nature.

But most of all, I am just a man with a love for family, life and nature.

Well, after so much fun with the last road trip though the Rocky Mountains of Canada, I have decided to do another one; one month after the last. This time, my road trip is to Southern Alberta, to work on getting some wonderful shots down south of where I live. It should be fun going some places I've been before, and many I have never seen, I am so looking forward to the trip down, however, I'm avoiding camping this time, as my back is still recovering from that night on the ground. I look forward to sharing with you all the photos from my adventures down close to the Canada - US border. James McMillan Landscape - Nature Photographer

Well, I am getting ready for a nice road trip to do photography in the Canadian Rockies. I will be going through the mountains starting near Abraham Lake, Alberta on HWY 11, head north up HWY 93 to the Jasper townsite and then back home to Edmonton on HWY 16. In total I am looking at almost 1,000 km of travel and enjoying the beauty of Canada's Rocky Mountains. I am really looking forward to this as this is the first long trip dedicated to photography of nature and landscapes. The first time of dedicating a trip to photographing the Canadian Rockies, waterfalls, rivers, lakes and the Columbia Icefields. Afterwards I will share with you the work that I shall be working on up there in one of the most beautiful places on this earth. If you are in the area, let me know. Also, if you wish to just say hello, wish me luck or even give some ideas for places to photograph in the area I am traveling; please feel free to leave a comment on this journal's comment section. Have fun, and

WARNING!!! FRAUDSTER!!! I can't believe that I have to mention this, but for the second time in as many months I have been targeted by a fraudster. This latest one was a bloke out of Nigeria by the DA user id of Wilsonbosa. Talk about red flags. This is also where the first jerk was from which wanted to wire me money for use some of thy photos as a "Interior Designer." That became clear it was a fraudster when he asked for me to send the limits on my bank accounts. This second jerk, Wilsonbosa, private messaged me saying, "Hi l'll love to buy some of your artwork as NFTs". So I did shut that down quickly. As if I am going to sell my work to be someone else's NFTs. Let's face it, NFTs are a fad that has come and gone. Only fools would buy into them. What is my point here? Be on the watch out for people that claim they wish to buy your work. If they come to you in a private message or the likes, and claim they want to buy your works, check their page. Wilsonbasa had no

A Bad Weekend

0 min read
Yesterday, my father-in-law lost his battle with Parkinson's Disease after fighting it for 23 years, on Saturday, February 26, 2022. It really sucks! But at the same time that I have such sadness, anger, frustration and numbness, I feel joy. Why joy? Because he no longer is suffering the horror of loosing control of his body and mind. He has taught me many things in the time that I have known him. Because of him, I have become a better man, husband and father from his example. He lived 75 years, and he is a good man. I will miss him and how he would cheat at Uno and Yahtzee. I will miss his tenderness with his granddaughters. And I am so grateful for his raising such a wonderful girl that became my beloved wife. God speed to you, Andrew Laine. And to all of us that now miss you, may peace and comfort be with you.
