From a very early age, making things with my hands has been one of my greatest loves.
My grandfather used to show me how to make wooden toys when I was a young boy and many of his words of wisdom have stuck with me.
I was apprenticed to a blacksmith for several years in the hope that I may one day become a bladesmith, but my path took me in another direction.
After spending five years in higher education and getting a degree I find my skills and ideas have been honed a little more.
Now, in later life, my interest in stories of the strange and unexplained has a great influence on my work. Especially tales from the folklore surrounding magical creatures.
