In the early evening, Alfred served up Christmas dinner. He’d spent the last week in preparation, but today was definitely the crescendo. With everyone seated, the butler brought out a large silver platter, a fat, roast goose dressed with apples and gravy, with a mound of stuffing on the side ready for eating. Tim’s eyes lit up as he saw the bird. They only had goose on special occasions, and he loved it. This tray completed the meal already laid out on the table.
