Descripción/description

Hay muchísimos Cthuloides (o ilizoides) en la Horda Ilícida. Los Vampiros Cthuloides son sólo uno de ellos. Son de color negro, con pequeñas zonas de su cuerpo de un blanco puro. Disponen de 5 pares de extremidades por lo que en ocasiones son llamados "decápodos chupadores de sangre" a pesar de que no hay pruebas específicas que apunten a que ese sea su alimento. De hecho, es extremada difícil observarlos y, si no fuera por los avistamientos de reputados Dussianos y Kdieua, se dudaría de la existencia de esta especie. Dichos avistamientos fueron en el Tejido Interplanar pero existen fuertes sospechas de que ese no es su ámbito natural. De los 6 pares de extremidades, 2 son anatómicamente alas, a pesar de que nunca se vio les vio en vuelo. De los otros 4 pares de extremidades, 1 son piernas, mientras que los otros 3 pares son brazos. Tienen membranas de color blanco entre sus brazos y el cuerpo, supuestamente para poder planear. Según los textos dussianos, se estima que su inteligencia es mayor a la media de otros Cthuloides o ilizoides, trementamente inteligentes de por sí. El nombre, como indica el hecho de que no haya pruebas de su consumo de sangre de ningún animal, se debe a su apariencia tremendamente teatral y a sus pausados y calculados movimientos. Su poder es abrumador y no necesitan ningún tipo de protección frente a la radiación interplanar ni frente a los fragmentos de irrealidad. Se los supone descendiente de alguna subespecie ilícida o de alguna Semilla Estelar de Cthulhu.

There a lot of Cthuloids (or illithoids) in the Illithid Hord. The Vampiric Cthuloid are only one of these species. They are black, with small zones of their bodies of a pure white. They have 5 pairs of limbs so they are called sometimes "bloodsucking decapods" despite there is no specific evidence pointing to that they feed with blood. In fact, they are extremely difficult to observe and, if reputed Dussians and Kdieua haven't sighted, it would doubtful the very existence of this specie. These sightings were in the Interplanar Fabric but there are strong suspicions that this is not their natural environment. Of the 6 pairs of limbs, 2 pairs are wings (at least anatomically), although they were not saw in flight ever. Of the other 4 pairs of limbs 1 are legs, while the other 3 are arms. They have membranes between their body and their arms, suposedly in order to  According to dussian texts, it is estimated that its intelligence is greater than the average of other Cthuloids or Illithoids, althouth they are inmensive intelligent. The name, as indicated by the fact that no evidence of the consumption of blood of any animal, is due to its extremely theatrical appearance and their deliberate and calculated movements. Their power is overwhelming and do not need any protection against interplanar radiation or against the unrelity fragments. They are the supposed descendant of some subspecies of Illithid or some Starseed of Cthulhu.
