Orẅro by 10-dave1 (scwibblingmadness)

The Orẅro are fractal kaleidoscopic creatures that are always in continuous movement and mutation. This provokes that they do not have a determined physical characteristics. In fact, when they are next to intelligent species they can adapt their physical presence to the thoughts detected in the environment. They are present in many areas, both planar and interplanar and generally go unnoticed.

Its name comes from one of these meetings, the Xëslytians mistook them for being castyan graphs, one of the writing system and languages used by Xëslytians, with the word Orẅro, which in xëslytian language means "darkness". As in the first approach they found only one Orẅro, they thought it was some kind of ruse or 3D painting left by one of their many enemies.

However, the Orẅro had simply analyzed the brain waves of Xëslytians and it was presented in a way that would fit with their perception of the world.

They come from the same Plane as the Xëslytians, the Woghasi Plane, but within the universe of Woghasi Plane, from very remote places with each other. Because of their ease of mimicry they have traveled from their unknown home planet using many species  as intermediaries and even through the interplanar space.

They achieved the transportation in the Interplanar Fabric thanks to its high resistivity against the interplanar radiation.

Because of its imitative capacity they don’t need to have a relationship with any other species and are discovered by other races by chance (as the case of Xëslytians) or due to get stuck in the blades of air vehicles or rotating ducts of some spacecraft because they love the things that revolve.

Therefore its original ecosystem or physiology is unknown, though in cases of individuals killed in Orẅro blades, has confirmed the existence of a strange internal transport system based on fractals.

This transport system (equivalent to the circulatory system), is a huge chain that reaches all parts of the Orẅro body. It not really transports nutrients as any humanoid blood system, but carrying properties (charge, energy, spin, angular momentum) to the next link in the chain. Thus, one could observe the transport of energy and other properties through the Orẅro body as if they were individual synchronizations and not as a transport itself.

However, this system has been observed in individuals associated with a particular species, so this appearance might not be their actual appearance. Some Iluyumë scholars (from a colony of exiles in the Woghasi Plane) doubt this and argues that this form is the original and that appears when they are dead. Among the White Xëslytians do not share this view, but they have failed to capture or find a dead specimen to check.

In the realm of speculation are more extravagant proposals such as the White Xëstlyians and their robotic helpers the Xowgi, which argue that the number of Orẅro throughout the Woghasi Plane would be much higher since it would be transformed into spaceships, nuts or even planets or stars. Some new White Xëstlyians from Planet Ethju Xeluê propose that on that planet they would have camouflaged the Orẅro taking the form of mineral ethju, a fine white dust from this planet.

They also propose the existence of different subspecies, which argue based on indirect mathematical studies.

As Xëstlyians have banned the White Xëstlyians enter Ethju Xeluê (for fear that usurp them the lucrative ethju, which is extracted to build Cloners of Space, much like the Chargers Space), these scholars have not yet found a way to directly validate their theories.

Some texts found by the Xowgi suggest that older species were able to contact the Orẅro for important information. Even in one of those texts it mentions that participated with many other thousands of fractal creatures in a kind of very important ceremony. Whatever the purpose of the meeting is something that escapes us.

That's an intricated story. I had to read it a couple of times. Not epic as the ones I'm used to, more conceptual. Very intresting, especially the "mimic" nature of these creatures. Another amazing product of your creativity.:) (Smile)
