I'm in love with this woman,
I'm satisfied with the result, but her skin....looks too smooth, it make her look like a plastic doll, there is no skin pores; I usually let the paper texture do the job, but this time I used Opalina paper (I use this kind of paper for my colored pencils drawings, because it's really smooth) it's really hard to make skin texture in opalina, .........please tell me what you think about....

This is awesome the fact her skin looks so smooth is what makes it so unique and gives it that glossy magazine look, your art work is perfect.

This "Opalina paper," is it something we can buy in the U.S.? My Google search isn't making me happy.

If anyone can hit me back with a link....

Some artists will draw the skin texture in. Perhaps this will push your macro skills, but perhaps doing so would just slow the process down too much. Yes, her skin is too smooth. The hands and wrists lack depth; their edges do not resolve properly. Looks like you started with the eyes, then gradually sped up. I say this because the eyes and surrounding area has the detail you want; the farther we get from the eyes, the less detail and effort we see. I should know, because I do this, too, when I'm in a rush to finish one.

Funny how you don't like this paper because it is too smooth, while I don't like any paper I've ever worked on, because it's too rough. I'm always finishing my drawings with blending tools to mask the texture of the paper.

I'd love to find some of this Opalina paper of yours.

Maybe her hands are a bit too smooth, but her eyes/nose/lips are perfect
