Exp Restaurant and Bar meets the Fifth Element

Ha! That's very kind of you thanks for the feature. This piece is a melding of one of my face places to go in Vancouver, BC Canada - called Exp Restaurant and Bar. It's owned by Brian Vidovic and I've been a huge fan and supporter of the business and the concept. This piece was made for their 1st birthday about 1.5 yrs ago. I printed it and gave it to them framed and it now sits on their wall permanently. The drinks are actually their 'Portal Shots' of which are delicious and come as a twin set. 'Sweetie' the cat is grabbing at an Exp card where you can level up the more you come and get freebies. The bar in the back is literally their bar with the Retro Gears of War Lancer (signed by the Gears team) and even the Legend of Zelda triforce box - which holds a copy of their custom brand they use to sear their burgers with the triforce logo. The entire bar is game themed and a wonderful place to be social. The food is absolutely stunning and absolutely not 'pub food' as the plating has a high standard. They even had an Assassin's Creed burger served to you with a plastic fork stabbing the burger in a dollop of ketchup! Everything is aptly named - Chrono Chicken bites are my absolute fave as they are deep friend and totally gluten free and available in a variety of flavours. The 'Connor' statue you see there is a full life-sized standing statue of him at the front of the bar as you walk in. You can play video games there on the big screen and watch them from your table. Tons of game memorabilia have been bought and donated to EXP and I just adore the place. The Exp huge arcade is actually a place where you can scan your exp card and see how many points you have added up for a free drink or appetizer. So yeah, when I did this I thought how awesome it would be to see this restaurant in the future so I call it 'See you in the Future' because I truly believed in Brian's concept for a bar/restaurant for gamers.
