Last month in August I walked into a Dollar General to see that they were already selling Halloween Candy. On top of this of all things I saw a Santa Clause decoration put out. And then as if that wasn't crazy enough today when I went to Walmart I saw CHRISTMAS decorations on sale as well as Halloween candy and costumes being put out. People this has gotten way out of hand. I've heard jokes about how people tend to celebrate the holidays earlier and earlier but this is crazy. Now I love Halloween and Christmas as much as the next person. But I would very much prefer to see this stuff being put out in the right month! As honestly I find it wrong how stores try to milk these holidays for all that they're worth. Even the store employees agree that this is wrong. Because when you boil it all down, all that these stores are going to do is risk burning people out on these holidays if they keep this up. That by repeatedly throwing these holidays in people's faces and continuously reminding them to shop for them is just going to make people so frustrated that by the time the actual date for them rolls around folks may not have any energy left for them. That the whole thing will go off like a wet fire cracker. But those are just my two cents.
