Hippogriff 2010

This is the main development version of Hungry Hungry Hippogriff. It's from the end of 2009 / start of 2010, a pencil drawing with digital colouring. You could consider this close to completion, but I didn't like how the Hippogriff looked. Or the woods. Or the slope beneath their feet. I also couldn't think of a look for the frame (the above was a placeholder). This is where illustration was mothballed, until it got a complete reworking years later (which i've already linked you to)!
