Heya everyone, I'm here with a humble and non-controversial request about the topic of "making money" with art on DA. Maybe it is just me but every time DA shoves the shop, art sales and "This artist made x amount of money in the last few months" into my face it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. And while I offer at least a few things like premium downloads the shop analytics tell me how great I'm doing in not selling art This and the constant focus of DA to monetize everything feels like a punch into the guts as Im clearly failing in that category xD. But I honestly never felt like I should sell all of my art in the first place as there is a certain urge to share all the funny and spicy creations I come up with. However, paywalls these days are a small barrier to protect myself from greedy corporations using the material for AI training or other crap. And since the AI stuff went the way it did it feels more then necessary to not just submit everything everywhere and be extra cautious
