Some of you are probably wondering why I hate the "School Of Rock" TV show so much despite the fact that the first episode hasn't even aired yet. Well now I will make this all clear.
1: It forgets about the original film.
The original film was amazing, I still love it, but this show almost completely forgets about it. The only things the movie copied from the film were that a group of kids have a secret band in school, that's all I can be certain of right now. Other then that everything is forgotten, and it just follows the horrible shtick that Nickelodeon has copywrited.
2: It forgets about rock music.
The entire show revolves around rock music, that's what the movie was built on. But if the movie could get this right, why couldn't the show? Well I will explain why in another point but the fact is, Rock music was the foundation, if you remove the foundation you have the equivalent to a card house, ready to fall with the slightest blow.
