"A rose, by any other name, would smell as sweet.
So Romeo would, were he not Romeo called,
Retain that dear perfection..."

Melody is the first name, but i usually go by Dee. (it makes it harder for people to screw up and call me Melanie.) and hello! :D you're welcome for the comment; i adored this photo. and sorry for my random quoting of Shakespeare; it happens sometimes.

Shakespeare is awesome though. Right now I'm reading Hamlet for Advanced Composition, and I have to remember the "To be or not to be" solioqy

Oh, i did that as a speech in tenth grade! :D it was fun.

I love Hamlet! It's such a great play. From reading it, do you not agree that Horatio is CLEARLY head over heels in love with Hamlet? :) There's that great line of Hamlet speaking to him--"Thou art e'en as just a man/As my conversation cop'd withal", and knowing that "conversation" is a pun on "sex"...oh it just throws everything into a new light. ^_^ i heart shakespeare.

Sexy...sad...beautiful...lonely...so many words rise to my mind when looking at this rose.
It's absolutly stunning the way you managed to create such strong feelings and emotions with a single red rose!
