Here is another sketch idea that I had been meaning to draw lately. As Princess Daisy is a tomboy, I imagined that she would have wanted to try out for a number of different sports in her youth. In my Mario & Luigi story, I mentioned in one chapter through Princess Peach that Daisy had tried out for the Calicon football team (American football, i.e., as opposed to soccer), having always dreamed of being a quarterback. "Calicon" is a town I created to be the empirical capital of Sarasaland. The Pionpi (one of the enemies in Super Mario Land) shown here is the coach and is consoling the young princess after she had been cut from the team for her own safety. Daisy would go on to play most of the other major sports (soccer, baseball, basketball, etc.).
