Eclipsed Memories Portrait 15: Escaping the Birdos

Please forgive me if I haven't been posting my portraits lately. There has been a lot going on.

This scene contains a conceptual design for Wart's lodge as depicted in Portrait 11. Here, Nerr T is showing off his bravery by escaping the scene with Starlow. The Birdos (shown here in their original Super Mario Bros 2 style) had just defeated the more experienced quartet, knocking them all out at once with a powerful trio attack. Had Nerr T, the autistic Toad, not been present and watching the battle, the Birdos would have taken possession of the three remaining Legendary . . . Wart would have been victorious and would have spelled utter disaster for not just Subcon but the Mushroom Kingdom as well. The ASD was fully aware of this and darted out into the battlefield practically by instinct, grabbed Stuffwell, who was storing the Legendary, and then escaped by grabbing Starlow's foot and having the Star Sprite fly them out of harm's way while the Birdos vainly shooting at them with eggs and fireballs.
