25 Days Till Christmas - 00: The Best Gift

Merry Christmas everyone! I drew and edited this final picture late into the night (3am EST that is) so that I can post it in time for Christmas morning (at least in the United States - it's already Christmas morning in the United Kingdom and mid-afternoon in Australia!). Here I have Nerr T and Toadette in their jammies having opened their presents.

I had to think for a while about this, but since Toadette loves music, I had Nerr T give her three instruments from completely different and diverse cultures: an mbira (Zimbabwe), a shamisen (Japan), and a lyre (ancient Greek style). Notice also that the shamisen is custom designed after Toadette herself. Nergle the ASD was gifted with a signed picture of his girlfriend (artwork is from Mario Party 10) and a book that I have not named just yet that has to do with either archeology or perhaps ancient Mushroom Kingdom culture. However, the title is specifically referring to the couple themselves. The best gift for them is simply having each other! All you have to do is recall that classic tune, "All I Want for Christmas is You."

I also gave Toadette an adorable puppy-themed nightgown, since she loves animals as well. This was sort of taken from a small detail in a Fanfiction story involving Toadette and a Nabbit. I thought it would make for a cute addition to the picture!
