Braving the Frost

This intimate scene was found in the one of the garden beds in a local park as autumn was turning to winter.

As you can probably tell, the flowers were very close to the ground behind a lot of vegetation which adds a lot of texture to the image. It took quite a few captures due to the low, pre-sunrise light and the angle (the "macro" lens I used was only 35mm so a very tricky angle to hold while leaning into the flower bed without disturbing anything).
