Discovered I love drawing with markers recently. It's fun, fast, and more flexible than I ever thought. At least until I'm done squirreling away $$$ for a Cintiq and Painter. :-)

Well, I was going to build my own 'steam-trek' Enterprise version.
(Which was why I was so bummed after seeing your's an hour later, after the idea popped into my head. )
I like your's better. Especially the iron work fillegree bracing.
But don't have the skill to do my idea, let alone your better complexity.
Bummer.

I'm having two feelings:
Gratitude for your kindness and comments about the ship, and sympathy
for a fellow artist with an idea. I suggest incorporating your thoughts into future works! I often have to do that, especially if the first take doesn't work. :-)
Years ago a friend and I had an idea for computers with wild colors and translucent cases. We forgot about it...until the iMac came out. Doh!

Many thanks again.

Yep.
It's the way of the world, isn't it?

If I can figure out the bracing on the curved surfaces, I'll try it again.
I liked your treatment of the warp nacelles. I hadn't thought of the scooped out, "corrugated" bits.
Hopefully I’ll be able to build it, somehow.

Dang! And I came up with almost the exact same idea this morning independently.
Damn!
:angered:
Rats! Somebody beat me to it! (and the Nautilus window too!)
:tantrum:
(That'll teach me from looking it up on DeviantArt to see if somebody's done it.)

No worries, and thanks!

BTW you're the only one so far to comment on the Nautilus window. I'm surprised actually...
Cheers!
