My art isn't worth protecting -_-

Also, watermarks get in the way pf my drawings.

I don't like them because they go right over the drawing and ruin it. I would rather do my signature in the corner or something.

My friend's work got stolen,
the thief somehow removed her DA watermark from her work and posted it as their own ^^;

I don't really get how they managed it though but, I guess sometimes watermarks don't help...

I agree on that. Got enough stuff.. :< stolen. or someone cutt the part with the watermark out etc.
That's a shitty feeling.. such watermarks are useless..

Yeah.
I mean, the older one was sort of okay,
but I think the newer one is easier to get rid of,
and it's sort of hard to see against the drawings done on notebooks and sketch papers.

DA's watermarks are abnoxious to me because they're huge and smack dab in the middle of the picture.
So I use my own custom watermarks, not just because they're smaller and less in the way, but because it adds a little extra personalization. Nothing screams 'YOU!' like a personal logo. :meow:

Under your picture when you are submitting your art, there is a checkbox that you can check, and it's written on it : Add watermark. Hope I helped you! :)

First off, I like your stamp :)
Second, do you have any advice for protecting written works? As to the best of my knowledge there is no such thing as a watermark for literature or other written pieces :(

Thanks for explaining but even. Though you do have a watermark on like I did with a photo it still cropped up on 3
Different websites with the watermark cut off.

aww yeah sometimes this happens :( sometimes people erase them or cut them... or draw over them... which is pretty sad.
