It's... er... yes. That's um... unexpected. I guess that's what we call "throwing a curveball". Fantastic. Those kind of narrative ruptures are what you do best.

Thanks Julien :) I'm glad the curveball worked. I started this comic very casually, and during the second page I realized where I wanted to go, and everything kind of changed.

(1-3) Great start, man! Right from the last panel of page 1 it made me curious to check the rest. I like how you managed to balance the pages with so many panels in them, and still make them look great as a whole. Are you hand-lettering these? The font works great with the linework, so I suppose so... looking forward to seeing how things develop! :D

Yey, thanks Diego :aww: I'm hand-lettering (apart some old comic I translated from Italian I always hand-letter: I prefer it a lot :nerd:), but am not very satisfied of it cause I'm using a crappy pen this time. Though reading your appreciation of the fonts just made me happy and a little reconsidering :D

 It does make a difference-- I haven't hand-lettered my comics because of not liking my letters very much, and being lazy to work them up until I like them enough, but there's no comparision, I think, when someone takes the effort to hand-letter their pages instead of having someone else doing so, or using a computer font... what pen do you use for the letters, Daniele?

As of now I'm using a crappy Serbian 0.5 ink pen. But usually I use either a Pilot V5 Hi-Tecpoint (uses liquid ink, and is good for more edgy lettering - and is also great for drawing), or a 0.4 Staedtler Pigment Liner (good for smoother lettering). When doing digital stuff instead, I use the main brush with a size of 12 or 15, and a hard pressure sensitivity :nerd:

...And now with the robot, it's getting weird.

Mr. Kokroach is a robot? And has some connection to naked Jesus? Hmm. I'll have to see where this goes...

I've completed page 6 yesterday, and I'm like halfway through the premise of the story, so it looks long, and going to more weirdness...
