This one didn't make it into the game either. It was going to be a sister level to the trainyard. Originally you'd see the bright happy trainyard level, then later on you'd see this level as if to imply something terrible had happened.

There wasn't enough scene to pull 4 interesting differences out of, so I tossed it.

Yes it is crooked. It is part of the character or even the humor if you want to look at it that way. Like I have patches of missing pigment in the skin on my right knee. I am crooked just like the picture and I bet that you are too.

It's an unusual book and certainly worth reading. It's kind of social fiction about a struggle of entrepreneurs against bureaucracy (justice against equality). One of the main characters is an executive of a railway company. Your deviation reminds me of the HQ of Taggart Transcontinental.
