When I found this piece my jaw literally dropped open.
Everything about it expresses a longing and yearning that is almost palpable to me. I have always wanted to write a book, and this piece just made me want to grab up a pen and start writing a wonderful story to go with it. I have been looking through this artists other creations, and I feel like a kid in a candy store. So much to feast the eyes and senses on.
This piece though, just moved me so deeply.
Everything about it is absolute perfection, and I can't wait to see more. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent.
You wonder of the story behind the picture, the character portrayed here is faceless with complete anonymity besides her ghost-like appearance and her waiting for a love that has yet to return.
You do a rather nice job of implementing a theme into the design, this of course allowing it to be implemented into a certain set emotions and stories, like plucking the right strings on an instrument for the correct tune.
Yet I feel as if there is a sort of simplicity that disrupts the photo into three pieces, the woman, the castle, and the sky in the background, they feel separate and disconnected, as if each one was merely placed upon the one before.
But regardless, a nice and subtle piece, keep up the good work.
The sky is lovely! The sky and building seem to fit well together but the figure still seems a bit 'pasted on.' Perhaps you could try changing her colors and brightness abit or blurring around the edges?
