Wonderland - Landscape Calendar #2

I think this is one of the best photos I've ever taken.

Location: Garibaldi Lake, Garibaldi Provincial Park, Beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
Equipment: Nikon D90 + Tokina 11-16mm + Tiffen Polarizer.
Processing: Photomatix Pro 4.1 and Photoshop CS5 from 3 RAW exposures.

I think I'm the only one that hates the oversaturation, but I do hate the oversaturation. Looks so fake, and having been to similar areas myself, it's pretty enough with its natural colors in the early morning or near sunset.

This is just an opinion by the way. Since this is your style, it's good for your style. I just happen to not like this being considered photography because it's pretty much a photomanipulation at this point.

I think that this would work if it were a hotspring with crazy bacteria or something but it does look a little fake - but to be fair, I do like the use of color even if it's over the top.

And you're totally entitled to that opinion. I just think that sometimes it's a bit unfair to have oversaturated art be compared to more natural art without some sort of category division. But I guess in the real world art isn't strictly categorized like that either.
