The color and depth in this photo is inspiring. I love how the clouds above bring a foreshadowing of trouble, yet the title disagrees. Additionally the color transition in the rocks at the bottom of the lake brings a quality the the photo that is perfectly balanced by the virgin snow. You really captured the essence of weather and beauty all at once. If i were to change one thing about this photo, i would say that the log sticking up in the middle of the water takes away from the perfection, however, mother nature decided that's where it should be, so what can you do?!!!?!?!?!?!

Thank you for your comment, but I expect more suggestions for improvement from a critique :)

www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbi… I hope you can see this link - I recognized your photo...did you give permission?

Nope. Stolen, watermark removed.

sorry to hear that - but I somehow didn't really think you'd given the OK - hope you gave 'em hell :D

Did you notice the shot was re-edited in an ugly manner? It's a shame.
kayaksailor's avatar
I did which is what made me question my memory at first, and think "maybe a coincidental shot" - but as soon as I found it in your gallery I knew   Anything you can do?
IvanAndreevich's avatar
In practical terms - not really.

how about every few days go on the link and put up "This image is stolen - do not share" or something similar lol

Ha, well I have better things to do. I guess stolen is not the right term either.

It's uglified and shared without permission :D

It's clear I need to get myself back to B.C. I was there years ago on a family trip and I still remember the beautiful lakes and landscapes.
