Swamp

I don't typically think of swamps as beautiful places, and when I do there's still a fogginess or eeriness to the atmosphere. This is a complete turn around.

The cloud formation is really beautiful and the patterning of the light on them mirrors the patches of green over the water in the bottom half of the shot. There's also a sense of movement in the sky that I really like. Plus a high variety of textures in the grass, moss, clouds and water to keep interest high without being overwhelming.

I like that the line of sight is consistently drawn back to the soft yellows in the center. It's the most vibrant part of the picture and really pops out among the blue and green. Nice job all around <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>
