The theme is slim glow, but with transparency disabled. Usually it is a bit prettier :)

This is the first time I'm using a dark colour scheme for normal applications. Was awkward at first, but I got used to it rather quickly.

Are you running KDE under Debian? Which version of KDE?

Yes, I use Debian, but not the packaged KDE software. I'm manually compiling the current git master. (comes with the job :) )

Thanks for the reply! I am a long time Debian Xfce user, I love Debian, but I recently start enjoying KDE. Unfortunately Debian seems always a step behind with KDE and I am sadly considering to try another distribution to be able to use the latest KDE SC release.

By the way I see a recent update on qt-kde-debian repository and so...I still have hopes :D

Well, debian's main goal is to be stable, so it usually is late to the party :)

Anyhow, building from sources is not a difficult thing - just a bit tedious to set up the first time, but after that it is as simple as running a single command.

Yeah I know, and usually this is what makes me love Debian.
But, you know, KDE evolution is so fascinating...

Well, I build some debs by my own in the past, I don't know if I would be able to build the entire KDE SC...

Thanks for replying!

KDEsrc-build is the most popular way (though, I don't use it) of building the software - [link].

Mind that this doesn't build debs, it is like a normal make install with the power to compile a lot of inter-dependant modules.

You can usually install it into /opt/kde prefix or something.
