Stari zeleznicki most

Stari železnički most/Old railway bridge here in Beograd, with Gazela (that means gazelle, not some odd female given name or anything) in the background.

Comments are wanted, encouraged, welcomed and the ol' fart of a bridge deserves them and will be happy about it. Read below.

For some reason, despite being the oldest bridge in the city and the only one built in the XIX century (1884), it does not have a proper information page. Not to mention that it survived both world wars and that it was bombed in both, too. If I come accross my copied pages from the book "Steel Bridges", chapter "Bridges of Beograd", I'll translate some of it, so the rich history of this retro gem is known.

(In case anyone asks about the NATO bombing in 1999 - bridges in Beograd were spared, thanks to France putting a veto on that.)
