Reviews

Still not sure whether you want to spend your hard-earned money on them? Here are a few people that wrote about how much they liked them. I'm sure any of them would be happy to talk to you about what they did or didn't like about the different flavours as well.

Yeah. I'm not sure if I can even offer them to send outside of Europe any more, I undercharged on the postage last time - it cost me WAY more than I expected :(

would you ever try

turkish delight chocholate ?
or Charamel ?

Turkish delight really doesn't keep for very long (I made some before and I think it lasts for about a week) unfortunately. The shelf life would increase when I coated it in the chocolate but I'm still not sure it would increase enough to make me comfortable making them to send by mail. And I don't really want to start adding a bunch of preservatives like you find in Turkish delight that you buy in the shops.

Caramel on the other hand I would definitely be up for. I've made sea-salted caramels in the past and they were super tasty! And a more gooey caramel would also be fun to experiment with. I'm actually looking for interesting new flavours to try at the moment.

Why, are you interested in buying? :)

Wow! Can't believe you make chocolate!
Just a quick question, Have you ever tried Cocoa Black of Peebles's chocolates? They're absoloute HEAVEN! Next time you're up in the Scottish Borders, come up to Peebles and try them!
Also, would it be free t ship to Scotland(if you're in scotland, Great!)

Postage is 1.50 for sample, 3.50 for small or 4 for large box. I would love to make it lower but Royal Mail prices just went up again (at the end of April) and, in the case of the sample, I'm actually making a loss on the postage.

I haven't heard of Peebles itself or the chocolates you mention... tell me more! :)

Cocoa Black chocolates are absoloutley Amazing! I think they won a few awards about a year or two back, like best chocoliter or something. I was lucky to go and make chocolate there with my Home Ec class, and you can go get lessons and workshops there too. Really, next time you come two the Scottish borders, you need to try them!

Ah, right. I was just up in Edinburgh for a new violin, down at Stringers on York Place, i think...anyways,Peebles is sorta...south to Edinburgh, on the road past Penicuik, if i remember correctly. I live in Galashiels, so I know that area fairly well. You can either go on the road through Penicuik, or go to Galashiels, and get a bus there.

When I made a box for friends a few months ago I chose rum balls, dark chocolate and ginger, and tropical breeze, because they're all really different so it makes a nice mixed box. But if I were making a box for me I'd probably choose all the fruity ones :giggle: (I've been tempted for a while to make a raspberry flavour :D)/.

Totally loving this! You said something about suggestions, would you be able to make coffee ones? Oh, and how many chocolates come in a sample box?
Also, what would it cost to send it to South West England?

I could totally make coffee ones :D A sample box is two chocolates.

Postage would be 1.50 for sample, 3.50 for small or 4 for large box. I would love to make it lower but Royal Mail prices just went up again (at the end of April) and, in the case of the sample, I'm actually making a loss on the postage.

Also, postage is an estimate at the moment as I've forgotten how much they weigh, so it might change, but as long as you place an order in the next 1-2 weeks you can have whichever is lower of the two prices (estimate and real).

No, I don't think so. It's all things like chocolate, cream, sugar, icing sugar, etc. Are you thinking of buying? :eager: If you do, I'd be happy to go over the ingredients list with you (by note) with a fine-tooth comb, just to make sure :aww:

WHY YUS. YUS I AM THINKING OF BUYING.
I love chocolate.
But I just found out I have celiacs disease so if any of the ingredients have wheat or gluten in them I'd get sick!
I'll be looking forward to that note! ;p

 I had a friend when I was growing up who had something a bit like ADHD (it wasn't that but something similar) where if she ate certain foods she would get really hyper and difficult to manage. Anyway, they were still working it out, so the foods she wasn't allowed kept changing as they updated their theories, but she'd come to my house and eat stuff and only say afterwards that she wasn't allowed to eat it. My mum was like, oh great, hyperactive eight year old again!
