Oh wow these are so beautiful Szark! Man I have missed so much in my absence, excellent work with the fur, and you went with a pretty realistic hair count like I do, its no walk in the park with OBJs aye! This has such great realism here and the gorgeous depth, I really like how you didn't go too warm with the colours, its easy for most artists to swing to the vibrant bright green palette. Great work man!

Thanks Spy...yeah were you been?

I am a bit disappointed in only converting his animals to Iray buy hey that is his prerogative.

Yeah I wanted the colours more mute given it is a low light situation.

Yeah I needed a break from everything, can only withstand the deep underlying problems of the daz realm for so long. And the latest figures were quite disappointing and hard to accept, I simply must adapt if I am to continue on, 2 years of no replenished content is truly agony :XD: I came back a few weeks ago inspired, my DA was flooded with notifications so I just cleared everything and slowly working way around friends, its taking me a while LOL

It is a pity that hair thing yeah, I was hesitant to say anything till I saw you, and apparently there are many who also share our interest, so that's good :D Fingers crossed. I am risking saying what I did there...

I can't escape from it. Now I work in Iray everyday near on. This is why I am not doing many personal renders.

I though G8 is an improvement but I am just not bothered with human figure anymore. It cost too much to get all the addons needed to make good detailed images. I would rather build landscapes and render wildlife.

Again I have learnt to sit back and let things flow over me. I am not impressed with his Iray mats. I bought both Rain forest plant products and nearly popped a vein when I saw the shader settings. Now I have to redo them all.

One of my biggest pride and joys in 3d is materials, I always play with them, so rare anyone sells me something I don't modify to heck haha

I am guessing its the promotional rendering that keeps you extremely busy. I been offered to do that by a few groups, reckon would be draining, but some people really good with pace, I'm so slow and harsh on self haha You do incredible stuff! I hope soon can have a break and create for you sometime

nope no promos except I do have a promo job coming up soon. As soon as the product is finished. I mainly do Iray Conversions for other PA's that either don't have the time or knowledge to do so. I not making a huge amount of money but enough to pay for the new PC and a new GC soon. But I am working toward trying to earn a living at this. This is why I am learning as much as I can regarding modelling and/or just texturing. If it was for my PC dying on me recently I would have been deep into Substance Designer and Painter. So I have to wait a little longer.

That is beautiful.
Undergrowth not exactly what they would forage through (too rocky - they're more into foraging through leaf-litter); but very realistic and a beautiful angle.
The Garibaldi hair also looks magnificent...............

Beautiful! If I ever go to NZ, all I want to see are Kiwis (the bird XD), Kakapos and Keas :) Excellent job on the feathers! They look perfect.

Thank you. When I lived in Auckland and was a young whipper snapper I used to make a beeline for the Kiwi house at the Zoo. Never had the pleasure of encountering Keas. Kakapos :thumb359617497: well say no more on those elusive birds.

Ah! I met a Kea at a zoo when I was young. At the time, it looked monstrously huge and was really entertaining to watch. :3

delinquent vandals is probably a more apt description for Keas
