Description
REUPLOADED FROM 2011!
Just wanted to move it from one gallery to the other
-------------------------------
So I started by slapping down a gradient fade from dark to light.
Next I tried to make some stars, but failed with the ''pattern''. SO you'll never believe what I did....
I had some ''dust'' (more like fabric particles) from my laptop's fabric cover thing that it came with (protects screen from being scratched- most people toss the cotton sleeve or sheet out) and the more I looked at it, the more I saw STARS! So I started making dots of various sizes depending on size of particle and where it was located on the screen XD
Next I took an old random photo of mine that had some fir trees and digitally painted over to make a silhouette of them (and then blurred them, added a backdrop shadow to them, smudged them around some to give it a more 'frizzy' feel like fir trees have).
Last, but not least I used these WONDERFUL brushes by [link] (found here ) and I smudged them around some for a better effect- not all of them were smudged, only a couple and above all, not very much (mostly just to make wisps and to make a ''break'' in the flow *the V shapes you see*)
