This typography piece is based on my favorite NBA player and 5 time world champion, Kobe Bryant. I wanted to capture the essence of his race to his 6th ring, as a revamped Lakers squad attempts to rise from the ashes of 2 straight disappointing performances in the NBA playoffs to recapture the golden glory of the Larry O'Brien Trophy.

I wanted to show that in order to win another championship, that Kobe would have to reinvent himself, to grow his game even further and to adapt as time goes on, just as the roots of a plant do as it grows. It is currently the offseason for a Lakers team with plenty of new faces, and this time is crucial to develop the chemistry that will hopefully lead them into the NBA finals. As such, this piece represents the golden dreams that lie at the end of the path that these players have set out upon this summer.
