“Warmed hearts in the cold morning”
Kelijia Flapped her warm coloured wings to gain lift in the crisp morning air of the arctic. The wind was exhilarating this time in the morning and exactly what the mare needed after being cooped up in a pine den all night. She rose higher in the air before clamping her wings to her side and dropping in a free fall downward.
She pointed her muzzle to the ground and entered a cork-screw spin. She feel like this for about 30 seconds before slowly extending her wings and existing the spin. Flapping against the breeze again to gain more altitude. Her mane flapping in the wind against her neck. Kel relished in the slight burn that filled her lungs with the cold air as she dropped once more. Just a simple free fall this time to lower her trajectory before gliding toward the rising sun.
