Well, I'd say that this more or less agrees with my own reason and common sense

I actually like the way you put lines that looking like "slashing" those sentence, adding a nice detail rather than plain text.

So... basically, what buddha said is that nothing is true unless you believe it's true.

Sometimes, it's best to have a little imagination in the mix.

There's no other way to correct for wrong beliefs than to acknowledge that your current frame of mind can be wrong, and to critically analyze your own reasons and the reasons of others. I see this quote as an endorsement of confirmation bias - definitely not the wisest thing to come out of the Buddhist tradition.

Good advice. If you dont understand/agree you are probably still a slave.

"One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we've been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We're no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. it is simply too painful to acknowledge -- even to ourselves -- that we've been so credulous. (So the old bamboozles tend to persist as the new bamboozles rise.)" [Carl Sagan, The Fine Art of Baloney Detection]

So I shouldn't believe in Holocaust?
As much as I like Buddhism, this is not a good piece of advice.

well since you dont agree with this it is not wrong as it says "not even if i have said it". So basically it says you can believe whatever you want. Sounds right to me.

This is the most intellectually bankrupt piece of "advice" I have ever seen. xD
