MMX:U49 - S1Ch18: Shattered Shine (Page 3) by IrregularSaturn MMX:U49 - S1Ch18: Shattered Shine (Page 3) by IrregularSaturn
It's hard to make a script for a fight having to guess how X and Kran would think in this situation while considering all the emitter directions/reflection angles of the mirrors, all to find the best way to make things go the way I want... before making this page I was more confused than X.

Mega Man X and all of its characters belong to Capcom.
I do not own any of the official arts/sprites/backgrounds used in this comic, if they are present in this page. They're Capcom's © - Mega Man X and Zero sprites were made by several authors.
CTI-026 Gladius by :iconthn001:.
Alia sprite by FXFreitas and kensuyjin33.

Textures from X8 were ripped by Sprite's INC.

Shining Hotarunicus tiles ripped by me and ibm2431.
Special thanks to The Mega Man Knowledge Base.

Feedback is appreciated.

It's a long process. I have to make sprites for everyone (except X/Zero/Alia in most of the cases) and create backgrounds using edited tiles/tiles from MMX4~MMX Command Mission, then I put everything in different layers (scene file) on Paint.NET and printscreen when a scene is done to throw in a separated file, where I'll put other kind of effects, borders and etc. To finish I just put the complete panel in the page file, organized in [Watermark>Border>Banner>AdditiveText>Speeches>Bubbles>BubblesShadow>UpperPanels>MiddlePanels>LowerPanels>Background].

Luckily, X has dealt with this kind of situations before.

I'd be in X's shoes too. All these angles and attack patterns are making my head hurt trying to deduce a boss pattern. And usually, I'm pretty good at figuring those out. But, if even I'm confused, then you are doing quite a good job on the matter. But if you're confused too, maybe it's too good?

Maybe. I gave him hundreds of sequence possibilities per move at the point you really can't tell what he's going to do next, if this was a game either he'd be unbeatable (though Zero would be able to defeat him since his Z-Saber can disestablish the Golden Defense) or nearly impossible for the developers to code, at least in this arena.

Sounds about right. Probably be the latter. Then again, you couldn't beat High Max in X6 until you got a certain weapon, so this could be likewise if it were a game.
