Storm rider

Here's something I've just finished.

A classic fantasy subject that was a lot of fun to paint Female warrior kneels on her dragon as she rides through the storm clouds. I've tried to reflect various dragon designs in her copper coloured armour. I have forced the perspective on her arm and the dragon's head to add to the drama and sense of flying towards the viewer.

Sketched in pencil and then coloured in Photoshop. The airbrush tool is great for clouds
