Drow Wars book 2

The painting was commissioned as a wrap around novel cover for a Dungeons and Dragons role playing game book. The left hand part of the scene wraps around the back cover of the book.

The black dragon is ridden by a fierce female drow warrior whilst it squirts acid at the unfortunate sailors. A pretty bad day for them!
