hey guys :)

hope life is going well for you all!
just posting some general questions for you all in the hope of getting a good discussion going :)

1. what drawing software do you use?
2. where do you draw inspiration from?
3. how long have you been drawing/painting/sketching?
4. do you find conventions a good place to advertise your art?
5. do you get inspiration/motivation from other artists? if so, who?
6. what is the hardest thing for you to draw?
7. do you think artist alleys at conventions have a good or bad future?
8. why do you do what you do?

would love to hear your stories and answers!

much love ~x

I applied  for artist ally for Nom-con and Eirtakon this year,
I've never done it before , It's my first time doing this.
I'm not 100% sure if my art would sell or if people would like it.

And for prices what would be the best.

i have another question im hoping someone might know the answer to. Whats the scene with VAT for trading? I work with cosplay props, i do it all rom home myself. Am i required to regster for VAT if i want to trade at a convention?

No, as far as i am aware you do not need to register for VAT.

A question for anyone who could help, im going be registering for a table for the first time and im being asked for a link to a portfolio. Is there any site that would be recomended? or is a link to DA fine?

DA serves as a good portfolio if you have some good pictures of the props you make :)

DA is fine, have a separate Folder in your gallery for all your Convention stock and link direction to that folder. A separate tumblr blog works too.
