With her and the rest of the Vektreni finally home, Judith expected the thoughts that plagued her mind to be dispelled. Or at least, to once again find a distraction in carrying out her duties. But being home has brought other thoughts to her mind which had been neglected during Vektren's march to war...

In other words, I guess being back home isn't all it's cracked up to be.

I am not a woman of great artistic detail, so doing this God-forsaken piece absolutely destroyed me. I hope you're happy because I'm certainly not attempting this again for a very long time xD

Just wanted to drop in and say that your art has improved so so so much since I first saw your work in DotW - your style has always been distinctive and unique, and I always very much enjoyed your use of textures and shapes, but you've gone from strength to strength. Your recent stuff is really incredible, in terms of both your technical skill and emotive storytelling :]
