What is it all about you ask

Well it's pretty much in the name you see.
This is a group for people to share their iPad creations or to simply have fun seeing others work. You could be a professional artist, a learning student or just a hobbyist. It's fun all the same.

You can submit any kind of picture you'd like, there is no theme other then it being created on iPad.

Any questions just ask! I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.

Ipad Art app review
Hi fellow artists and art enthusiasts!
For making my digital artwork, I use my ipad because I do not have an art tablet. I have used various art apps. So, I thought I would give you guys my thoughts on the art applications I have used. The ones I use most are procreate, sketchbook pro, and art set. So in no particular order, here is the rundown!

Sketchbook pro for Ipad!
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sketchbook-pro-for-ipad/id364253478?mt=8
$4.99 in the app store (it has a lite version that is free)
Pros: I like this app for various reasons. It is simple and pretty straight forward for a non techie person like me. This is really useful for logo design as it has a feature where you can create straight lines, circles, and squares easily. Another nice thing about this app, is that they have an official group for it on deviant art! You can easily find other artists on dA who use it. In fact, there is ev

I know it must seem alarming seeing posts from something like 2015, truth is I don't appear on Deviantart very often anymore, but I don't think I need to in order for this group to continue.
I think the settings is anyone can submit and its really just a gallery for people to share and view others work, a platform if you will.

If you have a question for whatever reason I will respond within a few day's I'm sure, though I don't know what you'd ask of me or how much help I'd be.

I hope you are all doing well and having fun creating.

Hi everyone. I just joined this group after just finding it. I have uploaded some of my work from quite a few years back. I haven't done much work on my iPad in recent years because of a neck injury.

Should I join this group? I draw on my iPad a lot. I've used an old version of Art Set on my older iPad that refuses to update and now I've got my new iPad fixed I'm trying Procreate.

Sorry for late reply! This is a place to show people word and those specifically looking to browse and admire work drawn on iPads. You can chose and submit if you like.
Procreate is the best app for iPad. it is used by many professionals as of late.

Well I've joined and been submiting artworks, and I've been using Procreate. I'm definitely not a professional by any means and frankly I sometimes feel like I don't even know what I'm doing, but I'm having fun for the most part. When I try colouring though, and I mean colouring like you would on paper without the bucket fill, the lines look streaky, you can see where you've been with the brush and there are degrading colours and this is when the brushes are set to maxium opacity. Would you have any idea of why this is or if there is a way to turn this off?

well. It has honestly been quite a while since I've drawn anything on my iPad so I must admit I'm a little out of touch. Streaky as in when youre doing the back and forth movement of colouring like you would on paper you see there are gaps where it hasn't coloured?
In that case maybe your brush size is too smal, I sometimes use smaller one to  to detailed but block colours I just make my brush larger.
Colouring can be tricky on iPad if youre drawing with you finger (as I prefer to) because youre not looking at the precise tip of pencil or pen in real life, so you miss bits naturally, but if youre using a stylus then it could be a little...sketchy simply because the stylus moves quickly and maybe not as precisely as traditional because the iPads screen is smooth and youre not dealing with the grain of paper which gives your movement some restriction. So it can be slippery.
But honestly it could be try using a different tool. for full colours i only use I think the pen setting or the airbrush, any of the tools that try to mimic real ones like pencils or paint etc are sometimes made to not fill a certain about of pixels no matter how much you colour just to get the realistic effect. I find that a pain. So, that's all I can really think of to try and suggest.
And don't worry I'm under the impression lots of artists have no idea what they're doing.
