In the hallway Culse looked at the collection of small bombs in his hand. “Oh, sweet Goirand’s furnace,” he whispered quietly. “What was he thinking?” “He’s trying to finish what he started,” she hissed at him. “Now get moving! You’re supposed to be in a hurry to worship that porcelain throne, remember?” They moved down the hall looking in windows. “It would have to be in a rather important looking lab,” she guessed, scanning windows for anything that looked familiar to Dalriaus’ lab. “Look!” Culse stopped suddenly, causing Sureshot to suddenl

A few minutes later and Culse was cruising the light rail into the city. He’d chosen his favorite hooded jacket and worn knapsack.  Sureshot had taken some convincing to ride in said backpack, but she realized that if she wanted to keep her presence a secret she would have to suffer a few indignities.  He tried to keep from jostling her small form as best he could as he made his way across town to his friend, who he hoped would have better news for them both. As they got close to the run-down apartment block, Culse chose walking over trying to navigate a spotty rail system.  In this end of town the maintenance crews weren’t com

In the weeks that followed Deadeye's death, Sureshot was listlessly off the radar.  She had brought back his body and buried it in his vault, sealing his remains securely with the rest of his valuable and beloved firearms.  She was not one for flowers, but a daisy she'd found in the park was laid in front of the vault before she left the lair for good and blew out the fire door controls.  It would be a lot of work for someone to get in if they ever discovered the entrance.   She stayed in her converted apartment for days, healing the myriad of scrapes, bruises and even two minor gunshot wounds she had sustained from the encounter with the Ha

Thirty minutes later a lone Hatter towed a captive, forced along at gunpoint. They didn't receive much scrutiny other than a guard who gave the abducted victim a leering look. From glances around the crazed congregation it was easy to tell there were a lot of drug users in the mix. Most of them were under the lucid-like, adrenaline ridden concoction most commonly referenced as "T."  It was just another day patrolling the city for Sureshot, the local archer superhero.  Although she was still somewhat new to being out on her own, her mentor, Deadeye, had the utmost confidence in her abilities.  It was a quiet night and a misty rain made standing out in full costume uncomfortable at best.  She was glad to have added her cloak to today's wardrobe.  Not only did it help to conceal her better in the shadows, but it also gave her a measure of protection against the elements.   She tuned in to the tiny ear bud that conveyed a new message over her portable police scanner.  There was a fire a few bl

Mudslide lost her cool for all of about thirty seconds as they went into a free fall towards the ground.  Their screams might have been deafening to their own ears, but to the outside they were a smoking streak across the sky.  She tried several things on the control panel to get the engines back online, but they were spent and gone.  The extra power she had used shredded them.  There was hardly anything left in the tank and most of the ship was powered down due to mechanical problems.  From the sound of the engines she could tell the fan belts had not been strong enough to handle the overdrive and had broken, spinning off their pegs and cut

They got to the bay where the Goalkeeper was docked.  Turbulence was not impressed with the small and worn little ship. There were more patches than body on the thing and it looked as though a good, swift kick would bring the whole thing down like a stack of unstable Energon.   They all boarded and tucked away the things that they had brought with them and Mudslide went to get the engines started.  However, once Turbulence saw how old the ship actually was, his confidence in their escape plummeted. "What did you do, get this piece of crap from an archive museum?  It's got to be over two-hundred deca-cycles!  There's no way this thing can

I know I just spammed all your deviation mailboxes with tons of fanfiction crap, but all it takes on your behalf is to read it and delete it. I LOVE transformers, and I've been drawing these characters for the past few weeks.  (If I don't draw or write to get all the crazies out of my mind, my head wold explode... and you have NO IDEA how tough it is to get brain stains out of the carpet...)  But I will be posting some sketches and, eventually, some colored drawings of the characters so that you can be appraised to the odd going's on inside my head.   ... Not that you asked to know in the first place. And yes, I realize I say I'm going to p

Yeah, yeah. I know I'm behind again.  I have artwork to post, I just need to get decent photographs of it.  I know anyone who looks at this profile doesn't think much of my work since, let's face it, there's really nothing here.  Well, that's all going to change.  I'm going to make it my summer project (as in when I have time) to make posts to this deviant account.  I think my biggest worry is the theft of my work.  Ah well, that's what watermarks are for.  Sorry that it impairs the viewing experience, but what's mine is mine, and if I can protect it from being stolen, then I most certainly will. Another thing, to all you artists out there:

Wha? You mean I missed 3 months?

Wha? You mean I missed 3 months?

Yeah. In case anyone was wondering, I have been on here more times than can be counted in that amount of time, but I just have been watching all you other up and coming artists with your phenomenal work.  There are some really great artists out there, so do a random word search in the search tab up there and see what you come up with.  Unless you pick a weird word like "persnickety" or "vertebrate-zoology" then your bound to come up with something good. And just in case you're wondering, no, I didn't really search those words, but now that I've come up with those random words off the top of my head, I'll have to search them. What kind of wor

Thank you kindly for watching me, it's much appreciated. :3
Actually, it's more because I fell in love with Redtail's Dream. Your style is beautiful in the comic and I was hoping to find out more about your work. Sometimes the best way to find out about a comic artist is by finding their website or, eve, their deviant art account. I really admire your comic and I hope you are able to continue the dream!
