Going through some photos due to insomnia and remembered all of the shots I took of this guy.
This was a commissioned Squig from Warhammer for a friend\\\'s costume (also pictured). I agreed to do this months ago but due to terrible scheduling on my part I ended up doing it the day after getting home from Otakon.
The entire thing started as a base of 1\\\" and .5\\\" upholstery foam and it is completely hand sewn. It has a functioning mouth which has 2 magnets in its top and bottom jaw to keep it closed. The face details were done using hot glue along with all of the foam assembly. The eyes are cast resin and the irises are painted in.
This took me something like 14 to 16 hours altogether and I was a little worried I wouldn\\\'t get it done in time for my friend\\\'s flight. Since he lives nearby he picked it up before leaving and I got to enjoy seeing his disbelief it was done.
