Fimo Teeth Tutorial

After making my first set of Fimo teeth for a possible Viral costume I may make in the future I thought I would put together a tutorial for anyone else looking to try their hand at it.

*EDIT*

:iconfimofemale: commented below with a tip that may come in handy if the color ends up unnaturally white.

"i have a little tip for anyone reading this, to give your teeth that realistic look ad a tiny (AND I MEAN TINY) amount of tan clay, yellow, and an even smaller amount of black, it looks really good, i have tried something similair to this where i made single teeth and matched them to my teeth shade..."

I just need to know, does this work for braces?
invader-gir's avatar
I would strongly suggest against it, putting anything over braces could damage them or the connection between them and the tooth enamel.
Do you know if its possible to do this with braces?

Wait! Do /not/ use foil on your teeth. Placing metals over your tooth enamel is very dangerous and you run the risk of actually scraping off your tooth enamel after even minimal exposure! If possible, get plastic dental trays, which shouldn't cost too much more to add to your project!

Its a good point, though also, if done properly its not supposed to have any contact with the actual tooth at all. Its only supposed to support the clay and make it easier to remove.
Do these stay on well? Can you clearly speak?

I've made them before, and done right, they'll stay on well. But you'll have a lisp when talking xD i find it very fun to talk with a lisp!

Let me just say that, though this is really old, I think this is a really bad idea. I don't think it would be safe to put clay in your mouth, especially when it is unbaked, even if you do wash your mouth out.

Thank you for your opinion but please see additional information in older comments relating to your concerns.
