Daruma Munny WIP

I've had a bit of a fascination with the Japanese Daruma doll for awhile now after seeing one in the designs of one of the BeatmaniaIIDX characters. Overtime its grown a bit to where I now own a couple. So last summer I had the itch to do another customization but knew I didn't have nearly as much time as I normally put aside for these. And so after glancing at the shelf I keep the bank shaped like a Daruma and the couple dolls the idea was born.

Customization Details:
- Started off as a 7 inch Kid Robot Munny
- As always making simple concepts come out clean end up taking just as long as a more detailed ideas if not longer to get the base smooth.
- Actual sculpting bits were actually not as much as usual. Just the nose and brow were added to give it more of a Daruma feel.
- The entire thing was painted using a mix of craft acrylic (skin tones), tube acrylic (all of the red), airbrush acrylic (all of the black details), and testors paint (all of the gold details) painted over the course of a few days to let all of the layers properly dry. The red was especially difficult to get to lay evenly.

Currently its unfinished because I had some clothing and accessories I wanted to have with it. Mainly a simple monk's robe, sandals and prayer beads. Though I'm still looking for size and style of bead that would go well with the rest of it. Also not really happy with the gold bits and have been considering stripping them off and starting over again.
