Just recently finished playing Bioshock Infinite (loved it) and I just had to draw for it.
The design for the twins comes from their little reference from the episode Trade Ya!, the only thing I changed slightly is their attire, to match their game look more.

Those characters in the game freaks me out in a way I can't even begin to explain.

Yeah they're the same person from different demensions sorry for bad spelling

Been years since I last thought about the game, but I still remember the characters and the concept about them.

Don't worry about your spelling, I could bet mine isn't better :D at least you know the diffrent between "They're" and "Their" seen a lot of people mix that up. Have a nice future:D

In the episode "trade ya" two backround ponies walk across the back of the scene dressed similarly to the Lutece characters from the video game Bioshock Infinite while carrying a bird cage.

The ponies in question are shown here just to the right of Rarity.…

The scene in question again look to the right of rarity just before the 0:19 mark.…

The bio for the Lutece characters……

As a fan of the Bioshock series and especially the Lutece Twins, I approve!

Amazing! I love Luteces, they're one of the greatest game characters ever <3

Can you actually call them twins? I mean, they are one and the same person only genderswapped from two slightly different realities.

These two are ponified versions of the so called "Lutece twins", characters from the game BioShock Infinite.
In game history, the scientist Rosalind Lutece discovered a way to travel through dimensions and encountered her alternate self, Robert Lutece.
She convinced him to join her in her own reality and the two became partners.
They were persumed to be dead after their portal machine was sabotaged but instead they ended up becoming dimension travelling time lords.
In BioShock Infinite they often support main character Booker DeWitt usually through weird encounters and cryptic messages.
