The name Mei Ling reminds me reminds me of the female ally of Snake in the Metal Gear Solid franchise. I haven't played a single game of it but I know of her by playing Smash Bros. she's one of the knowledgeable allies that shares knowledge both common and semi-unknown before Smash Bros. Brawl was released in the easter egg called Snake's Codecs.
