I thought she was being a little better behaved than normal when I shot this. It was only later she had snooped into my stuff and chewed something to pieces that will be a pain in the butt to replace.

ahh basset hound <3 one of my favorite breeds. Haven't owned one yet though D: such a cutie ^^ I don't think she could ever do a thing wrong ;D

She isn't tired, the bloodshot eyes seem to be associated with her moods. Being a little spoiled, she seems to pout when she isn't getting any attention.

This shot [link] was taken only a few seconds after another picture I took where she was moping more than that, with more blood shot eyes. She noticed I was paying attention, then hopped up and came over to try and play, then when I didn't immediately follow suit, she tried another tack to get attention.

hahaha, cute dog XD my cousin's dog once was full grown, but he kept trying to sit in our laps...


he was hoooooooge D: but ive never heard of a dog with mood changing eyes, bloodshot sounds kinda freaky

Maybe a little odd, but Basset hounds are like bloodhounds with their loose skin and sometimes sad or bloodshot eyes.
