Members of this group may post to this blog. I'm using it as a discussion section for this group. Please try to keep personal drama to a minimum, or at least take it outside. Yes, you can hide comments on your posts, at least as far as I'm concerned, and yes, the other person can then post about what he wanted to talk about, as long as it's on topic and he stays as civil as you let him be, but let's not abuse those options.
This is something of an academic group - think of it as a student run class discussion section for a college class, and think about what would be proper behavior during one of those. Now, keep in mind that in a different subject, I used to run those, myself, while working my way through grad school. I think that should tell you what is expected out of you, and how little nonsense I will tolerate out of those who set out to create a disruption, in order to get their way. I've seen this happen on the Internet - I think we all have - and I know how many moderators will forget that they know the difference between right and wrong just to make an easy and popular peace, but that is not my style and it never will be.
